Mike's resume also includes three years as Public Relations Manager for Choose Chicago – the city's Official Destination Marketing Organization. During his time at Choose Chicago, Mike worked on several large projects in support of Chicago neighborhoods – including producing Beyond the Loop, a two-time Emmy-nominated web series that profiled hot Chicago neighborhoods as top visitor destinations outside of downtown. Mike also worked very closely with The Trust for Public Land to promote the opening of The 606 Bloomingdale Trail that brings much needed green space to the Wicker Park / Bucktown area and increased home values and the quality of life for all West Town residents.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys health and fitness, listening to music and walking his dog through Chicago's vibrant neighborhoods. He is also passionate about international travel and traveling to scenic hiking destinations to escape from the big city and take time to appreciate nature and the great outdoors.
